Jerome- parents are Daisy & Prince born oct 10/15/22
We adopted Jerome from Designer Bernedoodles and we could not be anymore happier! Ryan was very responsive and answered all of our questions, sent pictures, videos, and made pickup easier by meeting us halfway.
He gave us a take home bag filled with paperwork for Jerome, microchip information, a blanket with Daisy’s (his mother) scent, food, treats, dog toy, ( came in handy for on the road), and he was wearing a collar and leash.
Jerome is calm, sweet, & smart. He came to us already crate & leash trained. And we were able to teach him sit and Paw and we haven’t even had him 24 hours. Jerome being an F1b, does not shed, which is great for our oldest son with allergies. I would recommend Designer Bernedoodles. Ryan takes wonderful care of his puppies. You can tell from the pictures & videos, and in person, the way Jerome interacted with Ryan.
We plan on adopting another puppy from Designer Bernedoodles in the future.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Steve, Cyndee & Dottie. She is the most loving, responsive, well behaved, playful dog that we have ever met! As if she wasn’t already the best dog in the world, We sent her to K-9 off leash training for 2 weeks & she came back A+++
She “places” until you say “break”, doesn’t jump up on anyone, knows all the common commands (sit, stay, come, down, off) and to get her in the truck (which she was always hesitant to do before- say “load up”… she cant wait to go for a car ride now! Loves riding on boats too. We can’t thank you enough. I may have said this before but it was the videos you sent that allowed me to see her personality compared to her sisters. She had so much more energy & playfulness in her. Steve keeps saying “Mommy picked a good one” & that “ we got so lucky”. We sure did. We absolutely love her!

With my older son off to college, we decided now might be a good time to get a dog, but what kind since he has allergies to animals( including hives, red & itchy eyes, and a runny nose). After quite a bit of research, we started looking into various doodles since they seem to be a lower shedding dog with minimal drooling (which can contribute to reactions for allergy sufferers). I stumbled across the Bernedoodle breed and fell in love! The breed seemed to check all of the boxes: low shedding, minimal drooling, the availability of an F1b type to help reduce the chance of allergic reactions and a “tiny” size (minimal surface area, minimal dander)…plus they are absolutely adorable. Since we live in Illinois, I was looking for a local breeder and reached out to Ryan from Designer Bernedoodles. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and he answered all of my never-ending questions immediately. He sent pictures and videos to help me narrow down which puppy would be best for our family. He then sent a towel covered in that puppy’s dander and sent it to my son in college to see if he would have a reaction. Ryan truly wants to make sure the puppy is a good match for the entire family. It is clear how much he loves his dogs. The adoption process went very smoothly, and he followed up with me afterwards to make sure things are going well. Rocky (formerly Remy) is an amazing dog. He is absolutely the sweetest (and goofiest) dog! I would absolutely recommend Designer Bernedoodles!

We adopted our standard bernedoodle Harley (formerly Jake) from Ryan. We were looking for a dog that is no/low shedding because my husbands allergies. He has been perfect. He’s already 80lbs at 7 months old. We cant believe how quickly he has grown. All of our neighbors love to see Harley when we’re on our walk through the neighborhood. I even have people driving by our house stop to tell me what a beautiful dog he is and ask what kind he is. Harley is a very trainable puppy and will do anything for a treat. We love his head tilts when we talk to him. He has such a great personality and is such an athletic pup. When he’s not in his crazy puppy mode, he’s very cuddly, loves to snuggle and thinks he is a lap dog. Highly recommend Designer Bernedoodles to anyone looking for a bernedoodle pup.

Story turned one over a month ago and She’s a terrific pup, loves all dogs and all people. Really sweet natured, smart & curious. She’s taken really well to training- can be a bit stubborn at times, but can’t we all. Overall she’s brought a lot of joy to me and pretty much everyone else she comes into contact with. She is terrific and people often comment on her b/w coat and her white boots. She weighs 18.6lbs. Thanks again for all you did for her in her earliest days!

Skye is almost 36 weeks!! She loves playing fetch/chasing balls. She is the cuddliest floof and loves playing with other dogs. She is very well behaved and very easy to train. We are hoping to do canine good citizen to become a certified therapy dog. Her personality has been coming out more and she’s the goofiest girl. We have had our Standard Bernedoodle Finley for almost 2 years and he has been the best addition to our family! He was so easy to train and is wonderful with all of our children. We usually take him everywhere we go and he is now an office dog at my husband’s job. He is a source of stress relief for the employees and has made an impression on everyone there. On days he stays home my husband gets asked why Finley isn’t there. He will be a therapy dog in the health care setting as well once Covid restrictions are lessened. Ryan does an amazing job with these dogs and puppies! I was so impressed with how nice the facilities are for the animals and just how much love each dog gets. We feel so blessed to be able to have Finley as part of our family.

We love our little Ranger so much. It was his mismatched paws or as we like to call socks that we first fell in love with, one white and one brown. He has the sweetest disposition and such a playful personality. Ranger is extra special in that he’s a singleton, the only puppy in his litter. Hence his name “the Lone Ranger” but there is nothing “lone” about him. He is extremely social, never missing the opportunity to play and say hi to other dogs. Living in NYC, Ranger is stopped daily on the street to be told how cute he is. He is also very inquisitive, always needs to be right next to you to see what’s going on and love loves loves to cuddle.
We couldn’t imagine life without Ranger and so thankful for Ryan and the entire Designer Bernedoodle family!

An update on Biscuit! Everyone loves her and knows her. Super Playful with people and other dogs, very high energy, very loving. All she wants to do is play, give kisses and sleep when she’s worn out. She doesn’t do excessive barking. She has never once destroyed anything in my house. She crate trained in under 3 days. I now leave her out of the crate when I’m at work and never had an issue. She doesn’t have accidents and was potty trained in under a month. She sleeps through the night, in or out of her crate its her choice, and will sleep all the way through until 7am. We go to bed between 8 and 9pm. She does great on car rides. I live in Iowa now so we are back and forth all the time to Chicago. She puts her head out the window and enjoys the breeze. She’s great with the groomers. She goes once a month and then once a week to get her teeth brushed. She completed puppy classes and the instructor said honestly there was no point of bringing her because she was the smartest puppy to ever come through the program. She is still free fed and not over weight. As of today she is a whole 13.6# She has never outgrown her first crate. Not sure if she will get any bigger. So can truly say she is a tiny. Her coat color has changed. Her tan is only around her feet now. She has white hairs through out her coat but right now she is still mostly black. Her tail has a lot of white in it to now. Her coat is like a wavy/curlier mix. I only have to brush her once a week or so. She doesn’t shed. If she does its so small you don’t notice. She just really is the best dog. After a couple months doing extensive research, I decided to put myself on the waitlist at Designerbernedoodles. This was the best decision I could have made. I live in California and Ryan made it so easy for me to get my puppy. He scheduled the flight and vet check, and all the necessary details. Charlie, formerly Carter, came into my life in March, and immediately stole my heart. Since he arrived, He’s been cuddly and sweet. He’s affectionate and loving, and incredibly smart! He loves people, children and other dogs. I firmly believe his wonderful disposition is due to his first months with Ryan and his family. He was obviously so well cared for, and loved, by everyone at Designerberndedoodles. Watching Kimberly with the puppies always makes me smile, because not only is it endearing and loving. but it also teaches the puppies to be comfortable with the little ones and because of this, I never worry about Charlie meeting kids, He loves them (thanks Kimberly!) I also love how on top of the puppies’ health they are. Charlie came with all his shots and has had no issues. I’ve been beyond impressed by Ryan and Designer Bernedoodles, and so happy I was lucky enough to get Charlie from them.

Cora, formerly Lily, joined our family in March of 2020. From the beginning of our search Ryan was incredibly responsive and sent pictures and videos of our sweet girl. We could tell from the videos that Ryan is a caring and attentive Breeder. Since coming to our home, Cora has maintained the playful and loving temperament that drew us to her in the videos. She is so smart and so friendly! We couldn’t be happier to have had the opportunity to have her join our family! When we are ready to add another member, Ryan will be our go-to!

Barkley is affectionate,happy,goofy,friendly and smart. The cottage is his happy place where he will run,swim and play. He loves to go for boat rides. He is extremely social and loves everyone. When we are out people constantly ask what kind of dog he is and comment on his good looks and affectionate nature. One gentleman asked me “how much” and I told him the truth. He gasped and then petted him. He said “He is so worth it”. Barkley makes us laugh and smile everyday and we couldn’t love him more. I found Designer Bernedoodles by coming across one of their pups in our community. As we were doing our research I reached out to Ryan and he was so kind and patient in answering all of my questions. I knew we would eventually be getting our pup from Designer Bernedoodles. Ryan couldn’t have been nicer or more responsive as some of our correspondence took place while he was in Haiti! We ultimately ended up with Ascher (formerly Rizzo) and could not be happier. Ascher is incredible! His temperment is one of a kind… he truly is the best dog. At about 80 pounds… he’s our gentle giant.We take him everywhere we can, he’s terrific with our young children, he’s all around the best family dog. He definitely steals the show when he’s out and about and we feel so lucky to have him.

I just wanted to let you know Darby has been the absolute best dog for Courtney and I! When we brought her home at 11ish weeks she was around 25# and now she tips the scales around 95#! Shes huge and we love it. She has free reign throughout pretty much the entire house since we’ve had her and NEVER does anything destructive or has accidents in the house. I cant stress how well behaved she is for us. She has never-ending energy and loves spending that energy playing with every dog she sees, especially her best friend Wyatt( Courtney’s parents dog and the one you see in the picture).
